Khabib Nurmagomedov is not a problem if you have to rematch with Conor McGregor. But, Khabib asked for the duel to be held in Russia next year.
McGregor last competed on October 6 last year when defeated Khabib in four rounds at the UFC, before finally retiring.
While Khabib continued to fight and had just defended his championship belt after defeating Dustin Pourier in the UFC 242 event on September 7.
Some time ago, McGregor signaled going up the ring again. However, it is not yet known who will be challenged by the man nicknamed The Notorious.
In the midst of the news of McGregor’s comeback plan, an invitation to rematch from Khabib’s camp emerged. The father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, said both could ride the ring again. But, the conditions are only one, the fight was held in Russia, as Khabib had not yet stated to the public.
“If McGregor wants (a rematch), then Moscow will be waiting for him,” Abdulmanap said in an interview with the Zhivina100 Youtube account as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“He once said that if he had more fans in Russia than Khabib. So we invited him to Moscow, he would be welcomed. We would wait for him,” continued Abdulmanap.
The invitation might be welcomed positively by McGregor. As is known, he has several times expressed his desire to compete again Khabib but was never heeded by the Dagestan-born fighter.
