
Khabib Nurmagomedov is a Russian professional martial artist and former UFC Lightweight Champion. Also known as “The Eagle”, Khabib is also a former two-time Combat Sambo World Champion. Nurmagomedov made his professional MMA debut in 2008 and signed with the UFC in 2012.

As of today, Khabib lives in Makhachkala, the largest city in Dagestan. It is also the capital of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. Khabib also frequently visits the Dagestani village of Sildi, located near the border with the Chechen Republic. He has taken to social media on numerous occasions to showcase the beauty of this village.
Additionally, Khabib also has a house in San Jose, California which allows him to stay close to his wife and two kids. Aside from that, he is also the founder of Eagles MMA in Moscow.

Following his victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 229, Khabib traveled to Nigeria to fix 13 wells to provide safe and drinkable water.
