‘I’m a whole different fighter by now’ Marvin Vettori eager to avenge Israel Adesanya after UFC Vegas 23 Holland fight

Marvin Vettori poses on the scale during the UFC weigh-in.

The 27-year-old Italian UFC star, Marvin Vettori believes he’s just a big-ass whooping away from his long-awaited rematch with Stylebender. Currently ranked sixth as per UFC’s middleweight rankings, Vettori has a long way ahead. Despite being behind a couple of top fighters, he thinks it’s his time to shine and go for the title.

Marvin says, “Most of the top five, they’re injured or they’re not showing up, so it doesn’t count. Like they’re top-five just on the paper. I think I deserve the title shot after this.”

As for his beef with Darren Till, Vettori has lost all interest in it. He said, ” [Darren] lost his opportunity. I don’t even trust him anymore to show up. I would like to eventually, but he can try and challenge me when I’ll be the champion. If he can gain the spot, I’ll face him then.”
