Robert Whittaker is a humble person and has stayed quiet on this matter, but many suggest that he should be fighting for another UFC championship. The former champ is ready to go against Kelvin Gastelum tomorrow night at UFC Vegas 24. The fight was earlier supposed to take place in February, but they postponed it due to Robert’s hospitalization.
Robert Whittaker’s mentality is a benefit to the sport, as we get to see a sensational five-round fight this weekend.
When asked about how he has evolved as a fighter over the past two years. Robert said, “I’m a different beast right now. My mental game is the best it ever has been. This has added to my physical game, skill set and how I approach the fight. I look forward to getting in there.”
Robert Whittaker talked about Kelvin and how he’s a dangerous guy. He said, “If you underestimate him, he’ll take it from you. I will get in there, give him the respect he deserves, and take him on.”

Will Robert Whittaker have a shot at the title?
Going into this end of the week, there is no doubt Whittaker is the division’s No. 1 competitor. However, the UFC hasn’t given him the recognition he deserves. Furthermore, Adesanya has never communicated interest in a subsequent battle.
Fortunately for Whittaker, he couldn’t care less. He’s never been the sort to require a title shot. Robert said he would like a rematch with Adesanya, however, it’s not something he’ll explicitly pursue. In the development of this battle against Gastelum, he said his whole spotlight is on Saturday and that his schedule doesn’t exist past that.
