Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy will host the first match of the Euro 2021.
Most countries will allow fans to attend the matches in the stadium. However, the full capacity of the stadium won’t be allowed, like Saint Petersburg and Baku confirmed 50 percent of capacity, while London will allow 25 percent in the first three group stage matches and then 50 percent for later matches. Meanwhile, Budapest is aiming for a 100 percent capacity of fans to attend the Euro 2021.
What is the format of the tournament?
Euro began with only eight countries competing to expanding to 16 countries and finally the expansion to the present system of 24 national teams. The 24 teams are divided into six groups of four teams each.

Two top teams from every six groups qualify for the next stage, the Round of 16. However, this is only 12 teams where are four more teams, so four 3rd runner-ups qualify to fill the vacant seats. After the R16, the winning teams move to the quarterfinals and then the semifinals. Finally, the remaining two national teams face each other in the grand finale of Euro 2021.
