Honda Repsol Team Has Lost 50 Points in Two MotoGP Opening Race

The Repsol Honda team is trying to overcome the problem so as not to lose 50 potential points in the two MotoGP opening races this season. That was stated by Manager Alberto Puig.

Puig explained that the Repsol Honda team faced a severe challenge after the injury which befell Marc Marquez in the MotoGP opening race at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday (7/19/2020).

The reason, the new team can provide further information related to whether The Baby Alien will pave the path along the 4.4 km this weekend, after Alex Marquez’s older brother completed operations at the Dexeus Universitari Hospital, Barcelona, Tuesday (7/21).

”Now we face the challenge of Marc’s injury, but this is a race. We are a strong team and somehow, we will overcome,’ Puig was quoted as saying by Crash.

‘When you have an injured driver there is almost nothing positive. But on the other hand, everyone sees and understands Marc’s level at Jerez. In Qatar [tests] some people have doubts about Marc’s performance. The package, the Honda RC213V and himself, are clearly two steps ahead,’ Puig said.
