The Mercedes racer won the world title at COTA on Monday (11/04/2019) when Indonesia. This is listed as Hamilton’s sixth world title on the Formula 1 race track.
Such brilliant results cannot be achieved without the support of several parties, one of which is the late Lauda. Because of this, Hamilton also helped dedicate the 2019 F1 championship to Lauda who died on May 21, 2019.
“This is the most difficult year because we lost Niki Lauda. He is very important to this team. I know today he will take off his hat again in front of the team.” Hamilton said quoted by Reuters on Monday (11/04/2019).
“I would not have achieved all this without him. I miss him very much, every day. But, I also know he is always with us,” he continued.
