In the 16th Formula 1 race this season, Hamilton’s journey to the first podium was not easy. Starting the race from second place, he got fierce resistance from the Ferrari duo namely Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel.

The Ferrari team seems to want to try to end Hamilton’s record in the Sochi Autodrome, but within a few seconds, their hopes of victory vanished, with championship leader Lewis Hamilton taking advantage to close the first Grand Prix victory since the summer holidays.

This is Hamilton’s ninth victory in Formula 1 2019. The first podium in Russia made the Briton have collected 321 points.
