The second matchday of the 2019/2020 Champions League group stage has been completed. Liverpool and Barcelona won with difficulty.

Entertaining Salzburg at Anfield Stadium on Thursday (3/10/2019) early in the morning when Indonesia, Liverpool first led 3-1 in the first round. However, the fragility of the Reds’ defense made Salzburg able to equalize the score 3-3 until the 60th minute.

Liverpool could only breathe a sigh of relief after Mohamed Salah scored the deciding goal in the 69th minute that put the Reds back on the lead. Despite winning 4-3, Liverpool’s backline reaped the negative spotlight.

At the same time, Barcelona also only narrowly won when entertaining Inter Milan. In fact, the Blaugrana left behind 0-1 in the first round.

Luckily after halftime, Luis Suarez scored two goals which made Barcelona lock in a 2-1 victory.
