Charles Leclerc recently expressed his support for the much anticipated as well as controversial Formula One Sprint Race. Much of the Formula One world is divided into two parts, one in support of this Sprint Race and another opposing the idea.
Charles, however put his support in favour of the race. He stated that the Sprint Race will fetch fans support from all over the world and make Formula One way more popular than it is now.
During an interview, the Monegasque driver conveyed, “I think we need a compromise. Let’s take, for example, the idea of the sprint race: I think it will find the consensus of a large part of the public following Formula 1, and as far as we drivers are concerned, I saw a majority position in favor of doing a test. Without the public we are nothing, so taking a step in the direction of the fans every now and then I don’t think it’s wrong ”.
Sprint Race testing is good to go, conveys Charles Leclerc
