Antonio Maria Giovinazzi, the 27-years-old Italian driver dreams about finishing in the top 3 in this year’s Formula One season. This will be the Alfa Romeo driver’s ‘Ultimate dream’ as expressed by the Martina Franca born himself.
The Italian in the Switzerland based team
Giovinazzi joined the rebranded Alfa Romeo (earlier known as Sauber) Formula One team back in 2019 and has been with the team ever since. During his racing days with the Zurich based team, the Italian partnered with the Iceman, Kimi Raikkonen.

Talking about his new ambitions with the team in new season, the former Sauber driver conveyed, “After two years, I know the people around me a lot better, which also has an impact on the way we work together. Of course, the goal remains the same – to collect many points together. My dream is to get on the podium, that’s at the top of my wish list, but first we have to see where we stand compared to the competition. But I am confident that we will do very well this year.”

The 27-years-old Italian also stated, “Of course, I want to keep improving as a driver, as I’ve done in the past, and take another step forward. As I said, a top 3 result would be the ultimate dream, and that’s what this team deserves.”
Alfa Romeo to look for a bright future in the new season
Factually, team Alfa Romeo managed to garner just 8 points in the whole season last year, with Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen scoring 4 points apiece. Antonio ranked P17 while his teammate Kimi a position better at P16. The Switzerland based team stood at P8 in the Constructor’s Championship.
