Nikita Mazepin, the recruit of the Haas F1 team, has expressed that his teammate Mick Schumacher is exactly opposite to him. Nikita is often known for his aggressive nature, while German Mick is known for his calmness in the Formula One circuit.
Mazepin crashed out in his first ever Formula One race at the recently concluded Bahrain Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Schumacher Jr crossed the Chequered Flag and finished at P16 in his very first race as well.
The Muscovite Nikita is at the very last position (P20) and Mick is at much better P16 at the driver’s standings after Sakhir.

Nikita, spoke to the media about his teammate. He conveyed, “I have enormous respect for him as a racing driver. I also like him a lot as a human being. There are different individuals in motorsport and some are pretty difficult to be around with. But Mick is the complete opposite, so I feel fortunate that he’s obviously my team-mate.”
The duo, Mazepin and Schumacher, have been in Formula Two for a significant amount of time and have known each other for an even longer period of time.
In regard to his teammate at Haas, the 22-year-old further asserted, “I couldn’t choose it, but it’s nice to have a nice guy around you. Obviously, we are now going to be really working closely together, where it’s only us two, so it’s going to be interesting to see how it goes this year.”
Mick Schumacher and the expectations from him
Mick, being the son of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher has already been under some limelight. The German prodigy won the last year’s Formula Two Championship and joined Nikita Mazepin and debuted in Formula One this year.
