Nico Rosberg, the former Mercedes driver, is now busy with his own Extreme E team, and also being a father of two girls, he promotes the notion of gender equality in the sport and other fields.

Recently, the German mentioned worrying about his two daughters, stating that they might not have the same opportunities as he did as a young boy. Discrimination in society based on gender can’t allow girls to explore their dreams.

The former F1 racer mentioned being full of joy when his daughters came into the world and wants to support their every dream and aim in life. However, now Rosberg wants to give opportunities to every girl in the world. He claims it shouldn’t matter from where they come or belong, everyone should get an equal chance in life.

Rosberg tweeted, I’m a proud Girl Dad! For me, it’s unthinkable that my daughters might not have the same opportunities to realize their dreams as I had as a young boy. Please, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something!

How Nico Rosberg is planning to promote gender equality?

The 35-year-old took retirement from Formula One after winning the World Championship in 2016. The German always had a love for engineering and innovation, which motivated him to develop eco-friendly machinery for motorsport.

Rosberg Xtreme Racing team’s driver lineup has a female driver, Molly Taylor. She is the first female driver to win the Australian Rally Championship. The Australian lady is now a well-known name in the sport, and Nico is proud to have her in his team. Molly will drive alongside her Swedish teammate Johan Kristoffersson.
