Nico Rosberg Claims Two Bosses From Mercedes and Red Bull “Can’t Stand Each Other”

Things are getting spiced up between Red Bull and Mercedes after former's win at Imola

Nico Rosberg, the former Mercedes AMG driver opened up about the state of bitter affairs between Mercedes and Red Bull bosses. Mercedes’ Toto Wolff and his Red Bull counter part Helmut Marko has been bitter rivals for the past few years.

Toto Wolff, the Mercedes AMG Chief isn’t quite a friend of Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko. It is very evident that Mercedes and Red Bull are not very good friends and rightly so. The two Formula One giants always look for opportunities to topple one another and are currently sharing one of the fiercest rivalries in the sport.

The new rivalry in this new season is on another level. The Silver Arrows and the Bulls are the title contenders, leaving any other teams far behind on this prospect. Not just this, their star drivers Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are going head to head against each other in every races and performing their best.

Adding on, Toto Wolff and Helmut Marko has protested against each other on many occasions when their drivers collided, race times increased due to penalties. This as a result, made their rivalries more prominent.

When the situation is such, the bitter rivalries between the bosses is a natural outcome. Rosberg talking on this regard conveyed, “There is so much pressure on him and we know that Red Bull and Mercedes are not the best of friends.”

The 2016 Formula One Champion further asserted, “It starts with the team bosses. Toto (Wolf) and Helmut (Marko) can’t stand each other, and it looks similar with the drivers. We’ll have a lot of fun with it.”

The current season’s standings portrays that we are going to have one of the finest season to watch out for. It’ll be interesting to see who gets better of whom, Helmut Marko or Toto Wolff.
