Max Verstappen, the Red Bull Racing driver has talked about the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix. The Dutchman has opened up about the circuit, it’s atmosphere and his relationship with this track.
The Red Bull driver has started in Monaco for five times in his career and unfortunately, he failed to make it to the podium once. The most recent memory which Max will likely to forget is the crash he had to suffer in the qualifications back in 2018.

Verstappen in an interview, conveyed on this context, “Monaco is always very special, it’s very different to other tracks, the circuit is very narrow but also amazing to drive over one lap in qualifying. You can really feel when you have got it all hooked up and the lap is going to be a good one – that makes you smile,”
The best result for Max was to finish in P4 in here in 2019. Fast forward from then to now in 2021, Verstappen is the title contender this year. Red Bull fans and Formula One pundits are of the opinion that this 23-year-old driver has got the potential to dethrone Mercedes man Lewis Hamilton from the hotseat and become the Champion of the sport.
Max, is currently at P2 with 80 points, trailing Hamilton by 14 points who’s at 94 now at the end of four races. The Dutch prodigy managed to pick up a win in four outings, while his fierce competitor managed to pick up other three.

It’ll be interesting to see Max can win this Grand Prix and reduce his gap to Lewis and overtake him, or he’ll just see Hamilton further extending his lead for him and for his team.
