The upcoming race at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari will feasibly be a recap of the fierce battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, as the weekend in Bahrain.
The Dutch prodigy finished second to Hamilton but gave a tough competition to the Mercedes ace. Nonetheless, the difference between them was just seven-tenth of a second.

The battle between two of the best drivers was a treat to watch. Thus, many Formula One pundits claim the Imola GP will be a repeat of the Bahrain race.
Endurance racer, Paul di Resta asserted his thoughts about the battle on Sky Sports, “It’s him [Max Verstappen] against Lewis and they’ll go knuckle to knuckle at it.”
Max Verstappen and expectations for the Imola GP
The Red Bull No.33 has been the fastest car in the circuit, since the inception of the 2021 season, dominating in the pre-season testing to the final qualifications at the Bahrain International Circuit. The 23-year-old continued his excellent performance in the season-opener, controlling the first few laps of the race. But soon the seven-time world champion took the lead.
Verstappen retained a neck-to-neck battle with Hamilton throughout the race. However, during the 54th lap, Max steered ahead of the Briton but retreated because of going out of the track.

The nail-biting race finished in favor of the Silver Arrow driver. In a post-race interview, Hamilton claimed the season-opener was the hardest race because of the young Dutch racer.
The Milton Keynes-based has the fastest car and is expected to do much better in the upcoming race. Verstappen is ravenous for a victory so, in the next match, he will give his all to win the upcoming race.
