Max Verstappen and  Mercedes

The Red Bull driver Verstappen is one of the most promising drivers in Formula One at the moment. The Dutch prodigy is already among the top drivers in the sport. Following his excellent performance in Bahrain, the young driver drew everyone’s attention towards himself. Therefore, there are chances for Toto Wolff to recruit Max. His close battle with Lewis would simply be a cherry on the cake.

Moreover, the Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko revealed a performance clause between the Dutch and the Austrian constructor. According to that, Verstappen can leave the team if they fail to win a world championship. Therefore, if the 23-year-old fails this season, there is a high possibility for him to join the Brackley-based team.

George Russell and Silver Arrows

George Russell has been a backmarker for most of his time on the grid, making way for the faster cars. However, the young Briton filled in the vacant seat of Hamilton for the 2020 Shakir Grand Prix because the 36-year-old Mercedes driver tested covid positive. The Williams racer finished ninth with Mercedes and also was the fastest car on the circuit. The German constructors were impressed with his skills to adapt to their car in such a short time.
