Lewis Hamilton, the Mercedes driver needs to push his limits further to defeat the 2021 favorite Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
The 23-year-old Dutch prodigy is giving a tough competition to the seven-times world champion. However, the Silver Arrow won the season-opener at Shakir.
Following that, the Briton couldn’t win the second race at Imola. He crashed at that race while chasing the Red Bull (33) and dropped to P8. Nevertheless, Hamilton made a heroic comeback, finishing at P2 behind Verstappen.

Recently, the former German driver Ralf Schumacher mentioned the British veteran will commit more mistakes because of the constant threat from Verstappen. Therefore Schumacher stated, “He has to go more to the limit to be able to keep up with Verstappen.”
The German veteran further stated the Briton might face another threat from McLaren and their young British prodigy Lando Norris. As the young Briton gave a tough competition to Hamilton at Imola.
How will the 2021 season go for Lewis Hamilton?
The 36-year-old Briton is fighting for his eighth world championship. Further, Hamilton only signed a single-year contract with the German constructor in 2021. As a result, many are speculating the Brit might hang up his helmet after claiming the eighth title this year.
Hamilton currently tops the 2021 Driver Standings with 44 points whereas his rival Max is just behind him with 43 points. Further, the Brackley outfit is leading the Constructor Standings ahead of the Austrian constructor. The Billion Dollar Man needs to level up his game to maintain the lead in this season.

Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for the upcoming Heineken Grande Prémio De Portugal 2021 on Sunday, May 02. The Mercedes knight might again have a neck-to-neck fight with Red Bull’s Verstappen in the Portuguese circuit.
