Lewis Hamilton Freezing Out In Cold At Imola Grand Prix FP2 Session

Lewis Hamilton signed a one-year contract with Merceddes.

Seven times Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton stated that he’s freezing due to the extreme cold at Imola Grand Prix. Imola, being a part of the city of Bologna in Italy is known for pretty harsh weather and cold.

Imola will hold this season’s second race and the free practices are already underway. Hamilton once again has his eyes set on the pole position as usual, and eager to take away the Championship once again. Coming here after winning the season’s first race at Bahrain few weeks back, the winning glare is still fresh on him.

In a photo posted by the reigning champion himself, one can see it’s quoting ” Mans is freezing out here” which clarifies that the weather is extremely cold. In the picture, Hamilton is seen wearing the F1 tyre covers shielding himself from the chilly wind.

What to expect from Lewis Hamilton at Imola

Lewis started as the underdog at the recently concluded Sakhir Circuit over Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Throughout the pre-season testing, as well as the final qualification, Hamilton was the second best. However, with sheer perfection and better strategy, the 36-year-old driver snatched the win from the Red Bull prodigy.

Lewis stands at P1 while Max is heeling him at P2. The season is still very long and still wide open. Hamilton being the title favorite alongside Max Verstappen, it’ll be interesting to see how the race at Imola turns out. The fans are all eagerly waiting if Lewis can repeat Sakhir or he’ll have to see Max turns the table.
