Lewis Hamilton is enjoying his first win of 2021 in the season opener at the Bahrain circuit. The Briton after the race compared the sport to an art form and how it affected his move to Mercedes.
The seven-time world champion claims the sport is an art where everyone should be free to make their moves to further improve their artwork. Therefore, despite all the disagreements, Hamilton moved to Mercedes from McLaren back in 2013. As the driver believed, it was his chance to improve his art piece.

Hamilton reported, “Probably more than 90% of people told me not to go. But that was my chance to be creative, to grow with a team that might not be at the top, but had the potential to be.”
Lewis Hamilton on his move to Mercedes
We might have never witnessed the Brit becoming the seven-time champion if he stepped back from the move in 2013. Thus, his creativity helped him to become the best racer in the world.
The Briton had a poor start in the 2021 season, not up to his mark in the prior events. But he changed the wheel in 180-degrees, winning the Bahrain Grand Prix from Max Verstappen, who was equipped with a superior car to Mercedes.

Lewis Hamilton was not letting Max Verstappen take the lead in the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix.
The 36-year-old Hamilton further compared Formula 1 to painting, how a painter keeps improving after many masterpieces and failures. In the same manner, an F1 pilot also keeps upgrading his skills and cars on the circuit to become better.
Lewis Hamilton’s creativity is not only limited to on the tracks, he is also a very talented musician. In 2018, the Silver-Arrow driver recorded a song along with American singer Christina Aguilera for her album ‘Liberation.’
After the poor pre-season testing also the Billion Dollar Man posted a video playing his guitar to stay positive and do better in the future. He himself claimed to make and play music is his way to fight anxiety and we can agree his ways really does work to provide some excellent performance.
