Helmut Marko Thinks Only ‘Two Projects’ Can Accomplish F1 World Title for Red Bull

Helmut Marko stays hopeful of Team Red bull leaving a big mark in the 2021 season

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko feels the key to their success is to find a balance between their developments and researches for the current and the following 2022 season.

Recently, the Austrian team is extremely busy with projects like the formation of the power-unit sector, the Red Bull Powertrains Ltd along with their next year’s challenger. Meanwhile, the team is also tied up with the development of their present car RB16B, which is also a challenge for the constructor because of a limited budget.

Therefore, Marko wants their team to find harmony between both the development of the ongoing projects along the future projects. The Red Bull advisor reported his solution for their triumph, “We have to work in parallel and it is now a risk, to balance the two projects in a way that both are a success.”

Helmut Marko and his strategy for Red Bull’s success

The Milton Keynes-based team enjoyed a beautiful start in the 2021 season, acing in all the events prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix. Their Dutch-prodigy Max Verstappen even dominated at the first half of the season-opener but eventually lost to Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton was not letting Max Verstappen to take the lead.

Meanwhile, the Red Bull debutant Sergio Perez ran into some technical issues with his RB16B and thus had to start from the pit lane behind other drivers. But the Mexican veteran used his experience to overcome the issue and finishing at P5.

Both the drivers after their first race of 2021 at Shakir claimed to have issues with the rear of the car. Thus Marko and the team are working on the RB16B for future races.

Moreover, Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey divided his team to focus on both the present RB16B and the upcoming RB18.

So Helmut Marko is working with his team for the upcoming race at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari on April 18. We might expect Red Bull to put on a tough fight against other racers in Imola.
