Future of Sebastian Vettel “Looks Bright” in F1 GP 2021, Asserts Former Legend Marc Surer

Experienced Sebastian Vettel now part of Aston Martin

Marc Surer, the former Racing driver has opened up about Sebastian Vettel and his dismal performance lately. The Swiss international talked about his dismantled form since joining the new team Aston Martin Cognizant F1.

Vettel joined Aston Martin this season, after having a quite disappointing outing with Ferrari for some good amount of time. However, his change of team has not been quite fruitful as yet.

The four times Formula One World Champion currently stands at P16 in the driver’s standings this season, quite shocking for a driver of his calibre. But, one good thing is, Vettel claimed he feels better with each day driving the Mercedes provided Engine for the AMR21 car that Aston Martin runs.

The next race is supposed to take place at Monaco, in an interview Surer conveyed about the context, “Monaco is a race in itself. The car has to fit. Vettel said he feels a little more comfortable in the car. That could be a good sign for Monaco. He will come out of the low. The future looks bright.”

Marc also had to say that Vettel misjudged Racing Point with Aston Martin. (Racing Point changed their name and Aston Martin was formed at the end of last season).

Surer talking about this, stated “The problem is the team’s history, they only ever built mediocre cars and last year they suddenly had a top car. He thought I would jump up. But they had a 100 per cent Mercedes copy. He probably thought he would get on because Mercedes was somehow involved”

As Formula One goes to Monaco for their fifth outing of the season, it’ll be interesting to see if Vettel finds out his form and manages to earn a point finally.
