Team News
Portugal are expected to stick with the same XI which helped in defeating Hungary, only Joao Felix will not feature as he’s out for injury. However, it must be noted that it was inspired by substitution by coach Santos which led to Portugal claiming a win.
Germany, on the other hand, might start Timo Werner and Leroy Sane up-front in order to bring in pace and attack. Leon Goretzka also might be brought into the starting XI to control the middle.
Facts regarding Portugal and Germany
Germany holds advantage over Portugal in head to head stats. The last time they met each other was in 2014 FIFA World Cup where the Portuguese suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of the Germans. Portugal will look forward to have some redemption after this.
