It’s not normal to see Emilio Alzamora singing loudly, jumping for joy, and hugging almost everyone nearby. That is the euphoria shown by men from Spain while celebrating the success of Alex Marquez at the Sepang International Circuit, Sunday (3/11/2019). Alzamora has been used to the success of Marc Marquez. As a mentor, he felt more euphoria with The Baby Alien, but not so much with the success achieved by the younger sibling of the 2019 MotoGP world champion. Alex Marquez’s success at the Sepang International Circuit, Sunday (3/11/2019).
During the four years of experiencing difficulties to bring Alex to the championship stage, the long wait was finally paid after Alex ended the hunt for the 2019 Moto2 title in Malaysia. The celebration was like an expression of gratitude for Alzamora who was finally able to take his driver to the world championship.
Alzamora has struggled for years to get rid of the stigma associated with Marquez and believes that it is something that has been overcome. It’s hard to imagine when the 125cc former world champion managed to bring these two brothers to win the world title.
Alzamora also has the same thought. But over time, he felt what he had done had presented an extraordinary record and this had become a very valuable experience.
“It is very difficult to unite the talents of the two racers, but personally I have tremendous satisfaction because they can continue to be part of this project. Especially they (Marquez brothers) trust me,” Alzamora was quoted as saying from Marca, Wednesday (11/06/2019 ).
“We together want to contribute their experience (Marquez brothers) in achieving goals and making fans enjoy their performances. In the end, we are here for this,” Alzamora said.
