Alzamora: An injury could be a big disaster for Marquez

Marc Marquez (ESP/ Honda) celebrates with the crowd after winning the championship during the Moto Grand Prix 2013 at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana in Valencia, Spain on November 10th, 2013.

Marc Marquez is very ambitious to close the MotoGP world title race as soon as possible. But his manager, Emilio Alzamora, cautioned his drivers to behave appropriately and don’t be too hasty in completing the season.

According to Alzamora, an injury could be a big disaster for Marquez. “I must continue as usual. Get the best of it and the motor in each circuit and see where the motor is better for him (Marquez),” he was quoted as saying by Motosan, Thursday (09/19/2019).

Alzamora said that because Marquez had clearly indicated his desire to complete the hunt for the world title as soon as possible. That was conveyed after he won the race at Misano, last weekend.

Currently Marquez has collected 275 points. He is 93 points ahead of his closest competitor Andrea Dovizioso. If Marquez wants to run a scenario celebrating the 2019 MotoGP world championship party in Thailand, then he must be able to secure the first podium at Aragon.
