Deontay Wilder threatened not to give mercy to Luis Ortiz in a duel at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, United States, Saturday. The WBC Heavyweight boxing world champion was not affected by King Kong’s leaner posture in the re-duel in defending the WBC Heavyweight championship belt.
“This time he knows what will happen, he knows what will happen the first time and what will happen the second time. He looks good,” Wilder said according to body measurements before the fight.
In this duel, the Bronze Bomber goes up the ring with a weight of 99.3 kg whereas King Kong weighs 197 kg, 2.2 kg lighter than the first fight on March 3, 2018.
“On Saturday night, I will have no mercy for him when I am ready to do what I do. We know what is coming but we don’t know when it will come. When that happens, sir, good night!” Wilder threatened.
“Don’t blink, it will be an extraordinary battle.”
Ortiz remained calm in response to Wilder’s movements. The Cuban boxer is ready to trouble Wilder like the first fight. “Tomorrow is our night, I’m ready,” Ortiz said.
