According to UFC President Dana White, former champion Conor McGregor already has his eyes on his next fight after UFC 246 against Donald Cerrone.
In an interview with 101.6 FM of Washington DC, this afternoon, White said McGregor is interested in confronting Cuban Jorge Masvidal. The fight with Cerrone will be in welterweight, the same division where Masvidal competes.
“Conor has told me that he definitely wants to face Masvidal,” White said. “Then we’ll see what happens.”
White did not give any details about the possibility of making the fight, nor did he give an estimated date.
2019 is the year of Jorge Masvidal, as well as its intention to face the Irish. After winning the BMF belt at UFC 244, Masvidal referred to that possibility.
Hey @BurgerKing, could I get a 3 piece with soda and a side chicken box please? Loads of salt and vinegar. Thanks

“I’m not a bully,” said Masvidal. “I will not be one of those cyberstalkers. If you don’t want to fight, we won’t fight. If you want to fight, I’m licking my ribs. Let’s do it big. Do you know what I am talking about?
Over the years, we have learned that in MMA everything can happen. So we just have to wait to see if this will take place within the next few months.
