Marc Marquez won the fight against Maverick Vinales at the Australian GP on Sunday (10/27/2019) afternoon WIB. The Repsol Honda racer has collected 11 wins so far in the MotoGP season.
Since the first lap of the 17th MotoGP series race, this season has been fierce. Valentino Rossi managed to take over the race from his teammate. But The Doctor did not stay long in front before being controlled by Cal Crutchlow.
On the next lap, position changes continue to occur. The interesting drama was seen when Vinales overtook two riders in front of him namely Marquez and Crutchlow to lead the race.
For the remaining 15 laps, Marquez continued to follow Vinales’ speed. The fight between the two racers is getting more interesting in the remaining five laps, especially when the rain starts to flush the Phillip Island Circuit.
Right on the last lap, Marquez who since a few laps terrorized Vinales successfully overtook Rossi’s teammate. Damn, when Vinales tried to catch up to Alien Baby’s motorbike speed, he just fell.
Marquez successfully underlined his name as the winner of the 2019 Australian GP. This positive result put his name like the Honda team’s first racer with the most wins (55).
Marquez successfully overtook Mick Doohan’s notes.
