Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is again comparing Marcus Rashford with Cristiano Ronaldo after the victory over Newcastle United 4-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday (12/26/2019) evening hrs.
Rashford scored his 11th goal in the 2019/2020 Premier League. Previously, Solskjaer had compared the 22-year-old to former United star Ronaldo. And the Norwegian coach once again compared it after Rashford’s superb header produced a goal in the 41st minute.
It was Rashford’s first goal of the campaign this season, after the Premier League authorities considered his header against Aston Villa at the beginning of last month, an own goal because they were seen deflected by Villa player Tom Heaton.
United’s other three goals were packed by Anthony Martial (minutes 24 and 41) and Mason Greenwood (36). While Newcastle scored Matthew Longstaff (17).

Ronaldo has become famous for his aerial duels since his first season with United in 2003/2004 when he broke the deadlock in the FA Cup final against Millwall and again scored twice with a header for Portugal in the European Cup.
“Marcus scored an amazing goal today,” Solskjaer said. “He works for it. He is a physical specimen, he takes care of himself, he works hard in the gym,” Solskjaer told a press conference.
He also said that Rashford had the same quality that Cristiano also had at such an age.”
As for the capacity of Anthony Martial who has scored six goals in the Premier League this season,
“The key is to give him the ball. He will not be a player who runs along the aisle all day,” he said.
