Carlo Ancelotti knows the seriousness of the transfer market. Therefore, he understands that his team must prepare to improve their efficiency in the Premier League. He has invested in certain players who have given him promising returns and wishes to sign more such players.

In an interview on March 13th, the Spaniard said, “We understand that there are areas in our team that require further recruitment. In particular, our midfield depth is less than other teams. The need to fill that depth is dire. That will be our first priority once the summer transfer window opens up.”

He further stated, “Everton have the option of Jean Phillipe Gbamin. But, he has not been to training for over a year. I am sure that when he returns to the side, we will look a lot stronger going into games in the future.”

Carlo Ancelotti says he will enter the market for a new midfielder

Before his arrival, Everton had struggled to keep their star players. Romelu Lukaku was their star striker for four years, and the Belgian scored sixty-eight goals in a hundred and forty-one appearances. After he left the club, Everton struggled to replace him. Although they brought in many players to do that (Cenk Tosun, for example), their struggles in the transfer market kept them from replacing the Belgian properly.

Nonetheless, Ancelotti exhibited why he is a one-time Premier League and three-time Champions League-winning manager by securing world-class signings and making Evertonians in Merseyside proud of their club.

Ancelotti would love to sign Frenchman Adrein Rabiot for Everton

Carlo Ancelotti has always wanted to sign Adrien Rabiot at every club he has led. The twenty-five-year-old Frenchman has the traits that are desired by Carlo at Everton. He is quick on the ball, tracks back and forth defensively, and wins the ball in an important location for a free-kick.

However, Rabiot had a great season at Juventus ever since he moved from PSG on July 1st, 2019. This season he has recorded two goals in twenty-one appearances despite being a holding midfielder. Therefore, the chances of him moving to Everton are remote.

Thus, Ancelotti has decided to swap his young Italian star Moise Kean in place of Adrien. Kean coincidentally was recruited from Juventus on August 4th, 2019. Following the move, he was sent on loan to PSG. He has recorded eleven goals in nineteen games for Les Rouge Et Bleu. Ancelotti believes that Kean’s goal record will be impressive for Juventus, operating without a proper striker this season.

Furthermore, the signing of Rabiot would make Everton title contenders. The twenty-five-year-old Frenchman is a natural leader, and he will lead his side to back-to-back titles in the Premier League.
