Tavares is a longtime veteran of the UFC. The Hawaiian is on a streak of two losses. In his last fight, he was knocked out by Edmen Shahbazyan in UFC 244. He needs a victory or could be unlinked.
Antonio Carlos Jr comes in a similar situation. The Brazilian is on a streak of two losses. His last fight was lost against Uriah Hall by split decision. Before that streak, he came from a sequence of five wins.
