Otto Wallin returns to the ring to welcome a big fight against one of the top Heavyweight boxers in the UK next year. The Swedish boxer believes he can topple Tyson Fury in a rematch.
Wallin, who settled in New York, United States, has begun preparations for the next battle after the defeat of Fury numbers that made him covered in blood in a 12-round duel in Las Vegas last September.
Boxing promoter Dmitriy Salita is planning a big fight for Wallin. He acknowledged that the 29-year-old left-handed boxer could consider a trip to England in 2020. “Yes, of course, England has amazing boxing fans and Otto made a lot of his outstanding performances against Tyson Fury,” Salita told Sky Sports.
Reflecting on the success of Anthony Joshua who regained his world championship belt with a victory in the numbers duel over Andy Ruiz Jr. on December 7 last. While Tyson Fury will target the WBC belt in a rematch with Deontay Wilder in February.
Salita has supported Wallin to push himself into the title race by proving himself to be one of the main competitors in this division. “Otto is getting better and better and has a lot of untapped potentials. He will approach its peak in the next 12-18 months,” Salita said.
