YouTube celebrity, actor and rapper, Jake Paul uplifted his step in his boxing career after winning the bout against former UFC fighter Ben Askren via a brutal knockout. Askren and Paul met for an eight-round boxing fight last night.

With that win, Paul has kept his promise of the first-round knockout, which made his mother proud. “I couldn’t be more proud,” Paul’s mother Pamela Ann Stepnick said in an interview.

Later, Stepnick showed his excitement and thanked the almighty. “Thankfulness for the Lord and all the angels and shadow who I know with you tonight and for Jake’s team,” Paul’s mother stated.

Further, Stepnick also prayed for Askren too. “I hope he is okay; I said a prayer for him as well,” she said. Even though Ben fell down to the ground, he seemed okay, and no injuries happened to him.

Paul made his boxing debut in January 2020 through a first-round TKO over a fellow YouTuber Ali Eson Gib. He faced former NBA player and Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson in his second bout and won that with a knockout too.

Now the Problem Child adds Askren’s name to his resume, which made Paul unstoppable. “He’s just unstoppable. And the world can just, you know, let his actions show that he’s proving himself,” Jake’s mom conveyed.

Nevertheless, Jake’s team has a big role in this outstanding victory. They have been helping to prepare Paul for months. “Jake’s team, they are doing an amazing job, even when Jake has been in a problem,” Jake’s mom applauded the whole team.

After the last night’s victory, Paul undoubtedly leveled up his career to become a professional boxer. The win also proved that he has been taking boxing seriously and shifting his overall career from YouTubing.
