Felix Cash Reveals It Was His Childhood Dream Since He Started Boxing to Win the British Title

Felix Cash is the current Commonwealth Middleweight Champion. Recently, he has been preparing for his fight against Denzel Bentley for the British Title.

Previously, Felix and Denzel had a sparring match. There was no clear winner at the time. However, there will only be one winner when the two unbeaten fighters face off on Saturday 24th April.

Speaking about the British title, Felix reveals, ” It’s a big thing you know. I’ve dreamed of it since I was a kid.” Further, Felix speaks about how he has watched the previous champions on the ‘telly’. As such, he understands the importance and honor that comes with the title.

His opponent, Denzel Bentley, is the current British Middleweight Champion. Bentley was recently victorious against Mark Heffron via stoppage. Moreover, it was a rematch of their previous bout which Bentley had also won via ‘U-Dec’.

Speaking about their previous meeting, Bentley feels that Felix can get quite ‘scrappy’. As such, he will look to counter Felix’s strengths rather than find his weaknesses.

Can Felix Cash claim another title?

As said before, the fight is a potential ‘barnstormer’. Felix Cash and Denzel Bentley are both titleholders. Hence, they will either add to their title tally or lose the one that they currently have. Aside from that, their undefeated records are also on the line.

Cash will look for the win as the bout will be his first title shot in the British middleweight category. Moreover, with his wish to etch his name into history books, he will have no shortage of motivation. He remains confident that he can take away the British title from Bentley.

“I want my name to go in the history books of holding the British title, it’s time to show everyone in the division who’s the man,” said the Wokingham boxer. The fight is all engines go for April 24, 2021, at the York Hall, London, United Kingdom.`

Coming into the fight, Cash (13-0, 9 KO) and Bentley (14-0-1, 12 KO) both have a spotless record. However, Bentley has a draw to his name. As such, Felix will be looking to add a defeat to an already nervous Bentley’s record.
