Denzel Bentley Admits Defending British Title Against Felix Cash Will Be the Biggest Fight of His Career

Denzel Bentley

British Middleweight champion Denzel Bentley will fight Felix Cash on Saturday, April 24, to defend his middleweight title for the first time since he won it in November.

After his title bout in November 2020, this fight will be his second headliner. Bentley appeared in an interview in BT Sports to discuss his upcoming fight. “My second headline show fighting for my second title I’m defending my British title you know um I’ve never ended the ring as a champion before so that makes it big,” Bentley said to the interviewer.

However, Bentley will fight the undefeated Felix Cash, which will be the biggest fight for Denzel. “I’m finding another undefeated file, something kind of something I’ve never done before that makes it big too so yeah obviously it’s for the British title,” Bentley conveyed.

Both Bentley and Cash will enter the ring undefeated. Standing at 14-0, Bentley has one draw in his record. On the other hand, Felix is holding 13-0 with no draw. However, both are tender in career, and it is exciting to see that the pair come collectively so early on in their careers to fight a title match.

Bentley appeared in three fights in 2020. In the first bout, he overpowered Mick Hall in July and drew against Mark Heffron in the following match in September. However, Denzel stopped Heffron after the fourth round in their November rematch and unified the middleweight title. Cash fought only one match against Jason Welborn and won the bout in five rounds. Before that, he won over Jack Cullen in November 2019.

Although both Bentley and Felix comply with the same strength in their fighting career, Bentley seems nervous. Nevertheless, Felix Cash will look for the win as the bout will be his first title shot in the British middleweight category. Cash currently holding the Commonwealth middleweight title since 2019.
