Ben Askren on Trash Talk Comments: “I Care About Fight Promotion and Jake Paul ain’t Promoting Sh*t”

Dana White will be betting his $1 million dollars on Ben Askren

Ben Askren and Jake Paul appeared in a press conference ahead of Saturday’s bout. Askren claimed that he has been promoting the fight, and Paul has not done anything to promote the fight.

The boxing world is only two days away from the Paul vs Askren fight. Both fighters have already created some hype on the internet, which is good enough to get a handsome amount of PPV. However, Askren blamed Paul that he did not work on the fight promotion except the trash talk.

The Funky thinks he is the one who took the fight skyward. “I am caring the f**king promotion of the Jake ain’t promoting sh*t,” Ben conveyed in the interview.

Further, he supported his claim by mentioning his views on the promotional videos. “Go look at the videos, Jake has got 50,000 views and I got 1.2 million. The promotion of the fight is totally on my shoulder, Jake is not doing his job,” Askren stated.

Paul will attend his third boxing fight, while Askren will jump for his first-ever boxing appearance. Although the YouTuber Paul has some expertise in the ring, the analysts and critics are rooting for Askren.

The Funky has experience in MMA and wrestling, which will keep him ahead in the ring. “For Askren, striking was always designed to set up his takedowns because he knew nobody was going to out wrestle him in the cage,” MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin said about Ben.

However, some analysts also indicate Askren as the underdog as he will get in the ring without prior boxing experience. Askren doesn’t seem worried about his first appearance. “Way less [stress than wrestling],” Askren said.

The Askren vs Paul fight will start at 9 pm ET at Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on April 17. It can be watched via PPV at Triller.com or FITE.TV.
