Ben Askren Anticipates “Seventh Round TKO” To finish off Jake Paul at Atlanta Stadium in PPV Fight Cage

Ben Askren is all set to fight Jake Paul at Triller Fight Club main event on 17th April. Ahead of the fight, Ben spoke about his opponent, Jake, and gave his predictions at the weigh-in.

During the weigh-in, Jake and Ben also exchanged some rough words. Interestingly, Askren was accompanied by former welterweight champ Tyron Woodley. Also, Jake brought a robot mascot to accompany him on the stage.

Naturally, Ben feels that he will be victorious. However, he predicts that the fight will go on till the seventh round. This indicates that Ben intends to have a long, drawn-out contest.

Previously, Ben revealed that he’s not taking Jake too lightly. Whilst Ben is quite confident that he will win, he is aware that his YouTuber opponent is capable of inflicting some serious damage.

In the past, Jake has triumphed over fellow YouTubers Deji, AnEsonGib, and most recently, basketball player Nate Robinson. He displayed some good movement and effective striking when he ended his last two fights within the opening rounds.

How Will Ben Askren Win this Fight?

Ben Askren is known for his wrestling ability in the MMA. He was never a hard hitter and would only use his striking to position his opponents. As such, it will be interesting to see him integrate his skills into boxing.

‘Funky’ has only been boxing for three months now. However, he believes it will be enough to beat an amateur boxer like Jake. Furthermore, he has reiterated his plan to frustrate Jake in the ring by prolonging the fight.

The former UFC fighter believes that patience and strategies will win him the fight. He has faith that he can outlast Jake in the ring and capitalize in the later rounds. Which way will the fight go? We shall find out tomorrow night!
