Jake Paul and Ben Askren will go head-to-head in a boxing fight. Ahead of that, Ben Askren shared his thoughts on Jake and what he expects from the fight.
Jake’s brother Logan Paul invited Ben Askren on his podcast. In Episode 272 of the Impaulsive Podcast, Logan and Ben along with a few others discussed a variety of topics including Jake and the upcoming fight.
Surprisingly, the whole conversation between Ben, Logan, and the co-hosts were incredibly wholesome. ‘Funky’ revealed that he was in fact a bit ‘worried’ about the upcoming fight. Askren has previously fought in Bellator, ONE FC, and the UFC and even then he does not rule out anything.

Further, Ben spoke about the YouTuber’s previous fights, “His skill as a combat athlete probably is not that high yet, and it’s going to take a while to get there.”
Jake has previously fought against fellow YouTubers Deji, AnEsonGib, and most recently basketball player Nate Robinson.
Whilst Jake won all three fights, his opponents were not noteworthy fighters. Neither of them had prior boxing experience. Hence, we cannot consider them as proper opponents.

Can Jake Paul Win Again?
Speaking about Jake Paul’s skills, Ben remarked, “There’s a chance he’s really good. And if he’s really, really good, he’s going to beat me.” Whilst Ben is quite confident that he will win, he is not ruling out a surprise upset.

He feels that the Ohio-born native isn’t truly as good a fighter that he claims to be. Further, he predicts that Jake is likely to get frustrated as soon as things don’t go his way. Hence, Ben will look to expose this weakness and win the fight.
Ben and Jake ended up in a heated confrontation when they met for the Press Conference. However, Ben got the better out of Jake in that instance. However, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top when the two collide on April 17, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
