WBC welterweight champion and IBF Errol Spence Jr. expressed their desire to fight Manny Pacquiao and Danny Garcia

WBC welterweight champion and IBF Errol Spence Jr. expressed his desire to fight Manny Pacquiao and Danny Garcia after his victory over Shawn Porter on Sunday (9/29/2019).

Spence defeated Porter with a winning figure in a 12-round fight at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, California, United States, Sunday (9/29/2019) noon CST.

The victory defended the IBF title and won Porter’s WBA belt. Spence set an impressive record with 26 consecutive wins and has never lost.

“I think so,” Spence Jr. told FOX Sports when asked whether his victory over Porter made him the best welterweight boxer on the planet.

“I am the only unification champion (title) and the next fight I want is against Manny Pacquiao,” he added. “But if not, there’s Danny Garcia here.”

Pacquiao, WBA welterweight champion (Super), admitted he had opened negotiations with Mayweather Jr.’s camp.

“My people talk to Mayweather’s camp, they talk to each other,”

“But, I do not know the progress, I have not received an update on that information.”
