Yamaha MotoGP Monster Energy Team took advantage of the two-week post-race holiday at the Thai GP to prepare plans for the next three races. Currently, the group has flown to Japan to undergo a series 16 race at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit, this weekend.

The Japanese GP is actually a home race for Yamaha. But it is not an easy thing to conquer this 4.8 km track.

Moreover, the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit is known as a place that has a very challenging layout for the MotoGP circus, namely six challenging left and right turns, braking, and hard acceleration. Therefore, careful preparation is needed for the whole team if you want to achieve success in Japan.

Yamaha team director Massimo Meregalli said the Japanese GP was always an important part of the team because this was a home race. In addition, this is a busy start for the whole team considering they will undergo three successive races in the next three weeks.

“We have to stay 100% focused and show physical and mental endurance as a team. Motegi has traditionally not been an easy path for us, but we hope to start working on Friday because we are determined to show good performances for Japanese fans, which is always full of support, “Meregalli said quoted from the team’s official website, Thursday (10/17/2019).
