Giant Premier League, Arsenal reportedly opened the opportunity to release their playmaker, Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.
Arsenal has often been asked to release Ozil. Because the German playmaker has difficulty being able to provide the best performance for the Gunners, especially in big and crucial matches.
But Arsenal instead gave him a new contract. Unfortunately, despite being paid handsomely, Ozil still could not display the best performance consistently for Arsenal.
Arsenal’s intention
Ozil has only played 71 minutes in the Premier League this season. Ozil’s other appearance occurred in the Carabao Cup match against Nottingham Forest last week.
Reported by Calciomercato, Arsenal seems to have lost their temper with Ozil and are ready to sell the 30-year-old in January.
Arsenal certainly will only let Ozil go if there is an attractive offer. So far, clubs from Turkey, China, and the United States are interested in the former Real Madrid player.
Unai Emery Tactics
Arsenal manager, Unai Emery seems to still often hesitate to rely on Ozil in attacking his team.
Arsenal themselves undergo an unstable start to the season. So far the Gunners have only just lost one of their eight matches in all competitions this season.
However, Arsenal and Emery’s squad are often bombarded with criticism for difficulties in several matches, including when they beat Aston Villa last week.
