Marc Marquez started series 14 at the Aragon Grand Prix from pole position after recording the fastest time of 1 minute 47,009 seconds in qualifying on Saturday (9/21/2019). This is the Baby Alien’s ninth pole position in the 2019 MotoGP event.
In this qualification Marquez almost fell after losing his balance. Luckily, he was able to control the iron horse RC213V so that it returned to a stable position and carried out qualifications again.
In the final round of qualifying, Marquez was between Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro. But he managed to get out of the siege of the two drivers and managed to occupy the leading position in the race at Aragon.
Marquez was in front of Fabio Quartararo and Vinales who followed in second and third positions. In the fourth to seventh position is occupied by Jack Miller, Aleix Espargaro, and Valentino Rossi.
Marquez’s success in locking the pole position at the Aragon race further opened up the opportunity to become the 2019 MotoGP world champion sooner than predicted. Because, Andrea Dovizioso, who became his closest competitor this season, is ranked 10th.
