5 Dortmund players who are ready to make Barcelona troublesome
Jadon Sancho is one of five players who will trouble the Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund will host Barcelona in the opening match of the Champions League Group F preliminary at Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday (18/09/2019) early morning hrs. There are five host players who will trouble the Spanish league giants when they visit the headquarters which has a capacity of more than 81 thousand.

Jadon Sancho is one of five players who will trouble the Barcelona defense. In the match against Bayern Leverkusen, he successfully delivered a winning team with a score of 4-0.

In that match, Sancho managed to contribute two assists. In total, he has recorded two goals and four accurate passes from four Bundesliga matches this season.

Sancho’s expertise in scoring goals and providing accurate passes could at least be a mainstay for Lucien Favre to mess up the Barcelona defense in the match later. One of the strengths he has is that he can read the movements of his team-mates before releasing the bait.

Noted, the 19-year-old player has provided 18 assists in the Bundesliga last season. The note is better than the superstar Lionel Messi. That is a picture of players who will trouble Barcelona in the opening match of Group F later.

There are still four other players who are ready to show their ability in the match against Barcelona. Who are they?

Here are 4 players who are ready to make Barcelona troubles:

1. Mats Hummels

When Mats Hummels decided to move to Bayern Munich, Dortmund’s defense was very exhausted. Luckily, the player returned after three years of defending FC Hollywood.

Now the 30-year-old player remains sharp and clever in passing. His greatness in maintaining the Dortmund defense can serve as capital for the team to host Barcelona.

If you see the pluses and minuses, Dortmund excels in defense. Hummels can be a player who can give misery to Blaugrana attackers like Luis Suarez, Dembele, and Antoine Griezmann. Because, in 720 minutes playing with Dortmund and Germany, he has an average passing accuracy rate of 89%.

2. Raphael Guerreiro

Raphael Guerreiro had entered the list of players who will be brought by Barcelona in the transfer market last summer. Luckily, Dortmund can convince his players so he wants to renew his contract.

Barcelona finally signed Junior Firpo. The 23-year-old takes place at left-back. However, Guerreiro is far more experienced. Moreover, the 25-year-old player can play both in defense and in midfield. Guerreiro’s accuracy rate averaged 83% since the start of the 2019/2020 campaign.

3. Axel Witsel

Before Dortmund, the Belgian played in Russia and China. However, he has significantly increased since his move to the Bundesliga. The 30-year-old does not even have specific weaknesses while his passing skills can make opponents shake their heads. In three matches this season, Witsel has made two assists.

4. Paco Alcacer

Perhaps, Barcelona wrongly parted with their reserve striker last summer. Why is that, since his move to the Bundesliga, Alcacer has scored 26 goals in 38 matches. With Munir and Malcom who failed to replace Luis Suarez and eventually forced to move to another place. That is, Barcelona really regrets letting Alcacer go.
